Dr. John Frucci is currently an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University in the School of Forensic Sciences and is the Program Director of the Arson, Explosive, Firearms and Tool Marks Investigation as well as the Forensic Investigative Sciences graduate programs. He is the Director of the Center for Fire & Explosives, Forensic Investigations Training & Research, or CENFEX and the OSU Global Consortium for Explosive Hazard Mitigation. He was a career law enforcement officer serving on the Essex County Sheriff’s Office in Newark, N.J. retiring in 2013 having served in several units throughout his career including as an FBI Certified Bomb Technician and Commander of the Bomb Squad and worked with the NJ Render Safe Task Force which was part of the NY/NJ FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Dr. Frucci has been a member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators for over 24 years and currently serves as as the International Director.
